Kirsten Janz is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (R.H.N.), who is also Board Certified in Practical Holistic Nutrition. She is a Raw Foods Chef and holds a certificate in Sports Nutrition. Her nutritional practice began over ten years ago as a parallel to her career in health care. However, her interest in alternative health developed at a very young age after experiencing her own unique health struggles. During this time, she discovered alternative medicine and a whole foods diet, which brought her a great appreciation and understanding for holistic based health care. As a result, she has made a career out of her passion for empowering others to make healthy meal choices and adopting wellness principles that will improve the overall quality of life.
Kirsten specializes in nutrition for digestive health, allergies, weight loss and men’s health. However she has a keen interest in sports nutrition and physiology. Kirsten holds a degree in the Social Sciences from Simon Fraser University and the designation of a R.H.N., with honors, from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
Dr. Kevin Murphy grew up in Coquitlam, B.C. and has recently returned to the area with his young family. Dr. Kevin received a Bachelor’s of Science from Simon Fraser University before attending the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto for his Chiropractic degree. Dr. Murphy always knew the focus of his career would be on helping others improve their overall health and quality of life. He chose chiropractic because it is a drug-free non-invasive approach to improving function and uses the body's natural potential to enhance well-being. Dr. Kevin also uses diversified manual adjustments and prescribes exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle advice to his patients. He has been trained in Active Release Technique (ART).
Dr. Murphy loves living on the west coast and spends lots of time outdoors, especially skiing. He enjoys caring for families, athletes, and people of all ages. Dr. Murphy is very passionate about what he does and cares deeply about his patients and their goals. His ultimate goal is to help people be healthier and happier.
Dr. Bouros has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University Ion Ionescu de la Brad/Romania and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Work from University of Bucharest/ Romania (2005). After moving in Canada in 2008 and after searching for a career that would combine her love of science, wellness, and nature, she went on to complete her doctorate of naturopathic medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Bouros works with people of all ages and health concerns including hormonal health issues, adrenal insufficiency (stress, anxiety, depression), digestive health, muskoskeletal issues, healthy aging, skin conditions as well as pediatric conditions. Naturopathic treatments commonly used by Dr. Bouros in her practice include herbal medicine, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine/acupuncture, supplements, nutritional and lifestyle counseling.

Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Hong Kim is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner. In order to further enhance his TCM level, he has been continuing this studies in various acupuncture techniques, such as Master Tung, the Balanced Method of Dr. Tan, and other numerous Korean Acupuncture techniques. In addition, he also practices cupping, tuina (Chinese massage) and ear seeding therapy as part of his TCM practice and has been certified for the Acupoint Injection Therapy for pain control and weight loss. Furthermore, he has completed a Korean Acupressure Course and is a certified instructor of Healing Tao's abdominal organ massage (Chi Nei Tsang), which is a Thai technique that helps to decrease belly fat, constipation, and stimulate healthy digestion.
Hong achieved a Master's degree of Business Administration in Finance from Korea University in South Korea and worked in financial department for years. However, when his son started to suffer in severe pain from Iliotibial Band Syndrome, He was motivated to find methods to help his son. He changed his career and graduated from PCU college of Holistic Medicine, and helped to relieve his son's pain through TCM.
To this day, he is passionate about utilizing his knowledge to help those in need. He truly believes in the power of TCM and its ability to help people in ways that modern medicine cannot.
Sean Heales is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who completed his graduate degree from Simon Fraser University majoring in Psychology and English. After graduation, he began working as a mental health care worker in a psychiatric transition house working with dual diagnosis patients as well as volunteering with the Mental Patients Associations drop in centre in Vancouver. During this time, Sean became passionate about supporting those with mental health issues which encouraged him to complete his Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling from the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
Sean’s calm, communicative approach and trustworthy demeanor is effective in offering the support and assistance necessary to help with your personal issues, family and parenting concerns, as well as relationships and life/career transitions. Sean also offers sport performance consulting for athletes wishing to unlock their mental potential on the playing field using a combination of relaxation techniques and visualization exercises.
Julia Sangha is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing, who completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University. She also has her 200 hour yoga teachers training and certification in Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma, Resilience, and Emotional Well-Being. She has been working in the counselling field since 2007 in a variety of settings, and works with clients with a wide range of concerns such as everyday stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, psychosis, and trauma. She also has extensive experience working with children and youth.
Julia’s warm, compassionate approach shines through as she guides her clients to a more positive, comfortable state of mental health. She holds space in a genuine way while using effective interventions to promote clients’ overall wellness. Julia strives to create a safe and accessible experience in counselling by interweaving elements of yoga and mindfulness with therapeutic tools. It is truly Julia’s honour to be a part of her clients’ journey.
Catherine graduated from the 3000 hour massage therapy program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2004. In her 15 years of practice, she has had the privilege of working with a variety of patients ranging from 3 months to 92 years old. Catherine treats patients for conditions related to pre and post pregnancy, motor vehicle accidents, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, stress reduction and general relaxation.
As a mother of two, Catherine understands the demand on the body, both physically and emotionally, trying to maintain the work family life balance. Dedicated to the health and well being of her patients, Catherine's ultimate goal is to help people achieve optimal health and balance in their daily lives.
Sara graduated with honors from the 3000-hour RMT program through the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has spent most of her life living in the Fraser Valley and appreciates all it has to offer from trail running, hiking and paddle boarding. It is because of these passions that she knows the importance of quality of life, which includes pain-free mobility and proper injury recovery.
Sara's passion for health and wellness is what has led her to a career in massage with a focus on deep tissue sports and pre-natal massage. Sara stays current in her field of practice by taking post-graduate courses and workshops on active living and systemic healing.
Shauna graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2015 from the 2200 hour program. She chose to pursue the profession as she has an innate desire to help others and make a positive difference in their lives.
Shauna has worked with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions as well as with athletes, and children. She finds it very rewarding to see her clients gain mobility and overall physical wellness. Shauna also has extensive experience working in the Spa and Wellness industry further developing her skills in relaxation massage and helping her clients improve mental health.
Matilda Nilsson is a Registered Reflexology Therapist through Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) and has practiced reflexology since 2010. She teaches classes and workshops on reflexology and foot fitness, and is a RAC examiner for practitioners wanting to register for RCRT status. Her fascination with reflexology began after witnessing the radical healing effect it had on her friends and family, and she became passionate about helping people restore their health through this ancient therapy.
Matilda grew up in Sweden, and moved to Canada in 2006. She stays active through running, yoga and martial arts, and makes sure to spare some time for her various art projects. Matilda is also trained in massage and energy medicine. She is adamant about staying current in her field and constantly growing as a practitioner through consistent research and training.
Reiki Master, BodyTalk and Manual Lymphatic Treatment Practitioner
Danica Arcand is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and Reiki Master and has been studying in the field of holistic health since 2003. She also holds certification in Lymphatic Drainage Massage, BodyTalk for Animals and Hatha Yoga Instruction. Her career has always centered on being of service to others and her early work focused on helping children with autism and special needs.
Danica considers herself a survivor having overcome significant life challenges and it was through her own health journey that she was led to the healing arts. She believes that it is due to her sessions of BodyTalk that she has transformed her life into what it is today: pain-free and emotionally balanced. From this profound personal experience she was inspired to start her own practice.
Passionate about energy medicine, Danica stays current in her field by furthering her study of The BodyTalk System. She is also developing her online Yoga Studio where she produces videos on mindfulness, meditation, yoga sequences, healthy living, and spirituality.
Erin grew up in Southern Ontario but moved here to Maple Ridge with her young family in September of 2017. She loves exploring the Maple Ridge area and surrounding parks and trails with her family. Erin's hobbies are yoga, running and painting when time allows as she is a busy mom to four adorable little ones.
Erin has a background in computer science, but has much experience in administration with her previous positions held at a bank and auction house. Erin is passionate about health and wellness and is happy to work for a centre that cares for patients as a whole.
Caroline Gorski is passionate about all things pertaining to health and wellness. She has finished her kinesiology degree at the University of the Fraser Valley and is working on continuing education in the area of nutrition. An avid vegan, she is passionate about educating others as to the benefits of a plant based diet.
Caroline loves being outdoors and spends much time hiking and snowboarding in her free time. She also loves spending time with her high energy dog, Pharaoh (a vizsla) going for walks, and exploring the best of Maple Ridge's parks. She is also very passionate about travelling the world as she has been to 21 different countries and is already planning her next vacation!
Tiffany is the newest addition to the Whole Body Admin Team but does not come without experience! Tiffany has been a medical office assistant (MOA) for almost 15 years and has worked in various medical offices as well as family practice. She has a keen interest in natural therapies and is looking forward to expanding her scope in alternative health. Tiffany is also happy to be working close to home, and spend more time with her 2 energetic boys! In her personal time, Tiffany enjoys yoga, and being a wife and mom.
