Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, Eastern healing tradition that uses subtle energy, also known as life force energy to calm, balance, re-harmonize and heal the body. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word Rei which means "Universal Life" and Ki which means "Energy". Reiki practitioners are trained to detect and alleviate problems of energy flow within the body. When a person's “Ki” or energy  is strong and free flowing their body and mind are in a positive state of health.   When their energy is weak or blocked, they are more likely to get sick. Reiki energy flows to the areas of need through a laying-on of hands, while soothing pain and accelerating the body’s natural ability to heal itself.  A Reiki treatment promotes relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
